Sexually Transmitted Diseases

This new course offers an up to date look at sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), based on information provided by the Center for Disease Control, Health and Human Services.   It addresses the transmission, signs and symptoms, complications, and treatment of various STDs.  It also covers preventions strategies and ways in which various STDs are linked to one another.


Preventing Sexual Harassment
2 Standard ceus $6/ 2 NBCC ceus $6

This course was developed using accurate and authoritative information regarding sexual harassment provided by Los Angeles attorney David Kadue, and it gives a brief overview of what sexual harassment is under federal law and what it is not.  The course provides valuable information about the development of sexual harassment law and gives specific examples of court cases where harassment claims were and were not upheld, and it would be appropriate for students as well as supervisors and employees in the medical, mental health, education, and social work fields.

• Click the 'certificates' tab. You will see your courses listed and next to each course a pdf link.

• Click the pdf link. The next page allows you to insert your license # on your certificate by highlighting it with your mouse.

• Click the green 'view' button and your certificate will open in Adobe Acrobat. You will need the Free Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer to open the certificate from within your account

• You may download and install the free adobe acrobat from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Still unable to download and print your certificate? You will find within your account, under the certificates tab, a link that allows you to request a copy be sent via an alternative route. Click the link, fill out the form with your request and your certificate will be on its way.
